The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Les Nosroyes from Domaine Lucien Jacob is an organic Chardonnay from one of the Côte de Beaune's most celebrated white-wine villages. The Jacob family has farmed in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune since 1922, and today the estate is certified organic, working with indigenous yeasts and long cellar ageing. Precise, tense and elegant, it shows why Puligny sits at the top of the white Burgundy hierarchy.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale gold with green glints.
Aromas: Citrus blossom, lemon zest and white peach with crushed stone, almond and delicate toast.
Palate: Medium bodied and finely drawn, with silky texture, vibrant acidity and a long, mineral finish.
