The 2024 Emilio Primo Rosso from Terre del Marchesato is the estate's entry into Bolgheri DOC: a Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah blend that shows the coast's ripe fruit and savoury charm in an approachable, polished style. About a year in second-use French barriques adds spice and gentle structure without hiding the fruit.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Intense, dense ruby.
Aromas: Red fruit and cherry with vanilla, warm spice, toast and a touch of coffee, lifted by a bright citrus edge.
Palate: Savoury and well balanced, with fresh acidity, velvety yet present tannins and a solid core of ripe fruit.
