The 2024 Chianti Classico from Montefioralle is a small-production, certified organic Chianti from the hilltop village of Montefioralle in Greve in Chianti. Led by Sangiovese with a little Canaiolo and Colorino, it is grown on limestone-rich slopes at roughly 400 metres and aged for a year in used oak, giving a fresh, elegant and very Chianti-like expression.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright ruby red.
Aromas: Sour cherry, red berries and violet with dried herbs, fine spice and a mineral note.
Palate: Medium bodied and vibrant, with juicy red fruit, lively acidity, fine tannins and a savoury finish.
