The 2023 Meursault from Domaine Lucien Jacob is an organic expression of Burgundy's most generous white appellation. The Jacob family has farmed in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune since 1922, and today the estate is certified organic, working with indigenous yeasts and long cellar ageing. Rich, round and nutty, with Chardonnay's mineral backbone running through it.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Brilliant pale gold.
Aromas: Ripe pear, lemon curd and white flowers with hazelnut, butter and gentle toasty spice.
Palate: Medium to full bodied, with a creamy, textured palate, fresh acidity and a long, nutty finish.
