The 2023 Franchesato from Terre del Marchesato is a rare, limited-production 100% Cabernet Franc from the Bolgheri coast, aged in new French barriques and rested in bottle before release. Aromatic, elegant and distinctly Tuscan in its herbal-savoury character, it is a collector's wine from a small run of only a few thousand bottles a year.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Intense, dense ruby.
Aromas: Strawberry, cherry, redcurrant and blackberry layered with fresh herbs, myrtle, Mediterranean scrub and black pepper.
Palate: Structured and warm, with a fresh, savoury entry, a broad mid-palate, enveloping tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Food Pairings:
