The 2023 Bouzeron from Domaine Lucien Jacob is a lively Aligoté from Burgundy's only village appellation dedicated to the grape. The Jacob family has farmed in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune since 1922, and today the estate is certified organic and works with indigenous yeasts. Crisp, savoury and mouth-wateringly fresh, it is Burgundy's best-kept white secret.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale lemon with green glints.
Aromas: Green apple, citrus and white flowers with a fresh herbal and mineral edge.
Palate: Dry and vibrant, with zesty acidity, a stony, savoury texture and a clean, refreshing finish.
