The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru from Domaine Lucien Jacob is an organic Pinot Noir from one of the Côte de Beaune's most reliably elegant red-wine villages. The Jacob family has farmed in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune since 1922, and today the estate is certified organic, working with indigenous yeasts and long cellar ageing. Fragrant and finely structured, it balances red fruit and savoury depth.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Medium ruby.
Aromas: Red cherry, raspberry and redcurrant with violet, fresh herbs and a touch of earthy spice.
Palate: Medium bodied and refined, with silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, savoury finish.
