The 2022 Givry 1er Cru Les Grands Prétans from Domaine Lucien Jacob is a red Premier Cru from the Côte Chalonnaise, made from Pinot Noir. The Jacob family has farmed in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune since 1922, and today the estate is certified organic, working with indigenous yeasts and long cellar ageing. A generous, red-fruited Pinot with real Burgundian charm and plenty of value.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Ruby red.
Aromas: Ripe cherry, raspberry and plum with violet, forest floor and gentle spice.
Palate: Medium bodied and silky, with juicy red fruit, fine tannins and a savoury, lingering finish.
