The 2022 Beaune 1er Cru Les Toussaints from Domaine Lucien Jacob comes from a Premier Cru climat the Jacob family has long worked in Beaune. They have farmed in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune since 1922, and today the estate is certified organic, working with indigenous yeasts and long cellar ageing. A classic Beaune red, silky and savoury, with the structure to age gracefully.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright ruby.
Aromas: Black cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry with violet, spice and a hint of forest floor.
Palate: Medium bodied and energetic, with silky red fruit, fine tannins, fresh acidity and a long finish.
