The 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from Villa Crine Winery is a refined and powerful expression of this renowned Italian wine. Crafted using the appassimento method, where grapes are dried before fermentation, this Amarone develops remarkable depth, structure, and complexity over time. With already 10 years of age on this wine, it's showing beautiful development in the glass.

Colour: Deep garnet red with brick-hued reflections.

Aromas: Rich and layered, with notes of dried cherries, blackcurrant, and figs, complemented by hints of dark chocolate, tobacco, leather, and baking spices.

Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, with smooth, well-integrated tannins. Flavours of ripe black fruit, plum, and raisins are balanced by notes of espresso, cedar, and sweet spice. A long, elegant finish with hints of balsamic and earthiness adds further depth.
