The 2023 Huerto de Palacio Tinto Roble from Vidasol is a 100% Tempranillo from La Mancha, given a short two months in oak (a "roble") for a touch of spice and softness. Fruity, smooth and generous, it is a great-value red for tapas, barbecues and everyday dinners.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Deep cherry red with purple edges.
Aromas: Red fruit and cherry with liquorice and a hint of smoky wood.
Palate: Medium bodied and smooth, with ripe red fruit, a gentle oak touch and a warm finish.
