Product Info
The 2023 Chianti Classico Riserva from Montefioralle comes from the estate's oldest vines, around 35 years old, on the limestone slopes of Greve in Chianti. Led by Sangiovese with Canaiolo and Colorino, it is hand-harvested, fermented in cement and aged for a year in used oak and then another year in ceramic vessels, for a refined, organic Riserva made in tiny quantities.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Deep ruby with garnet edges.
Aromas: Ripe cherry and dark berries with violet, dried herbs, subtle spice and mineral notes.
Palate: Medium to full bodied, with concentrated fruit, fine-grained tannins, bright acidity and a long, elegant finish.
