The 2023 Rully 1er Cru from Domaine Lucien Jacob brings the Côte Chalonnaise's elegant Chardonnay to the table. The Jacob family has farmed in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune since 1922, and today the estate is certified organic, using indigenous yeasts and long cellar ageing. Fine, mineral and full of citrus-and-orchard charm, it is a Premier Cru that over-delivers.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Pale gold with green reflections.
Aromas: Lemon, white peach and pear with white blossom, hazelnut and a subtle toasty note.
Palate: Medium bodied and polished, with fresh acidity, a creamy texture and a mineral, lingering finish.
