The NV Nos Traditions Brut from Domaine Mallet is the house cuvée of a family grower in Trélou-sur-Marne, in the western Marne Valley, where Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir thrive on sunny hillsides. A fruit-forward, generous Champagne in the classic Brut style, it is a lovely introduction to a small grower's way of doing things.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Golden straw with a fine, persistent bead.
Aromas: Ripe orchard fruit and red berries, with brioche, toasted almond and a touch of spice.
Palate: Round and lively, with soft red-fruit flavours, fresh acidity and a creamy, satisfying finish.
