The 2014 St. Émilion Grand Cru from Château Queyron Pindefleurs is a mature, Merlot-led Right Bank red from a family-run estate that has been in the Fillon family since 1937. With more than a decade of age, it has developed the savoury, tertiary complexity that Bordeaux lovers look for, in a classic, medium-bodied style.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Ruby with garnet and brick-tinged edges.
Aromas: Black plum and cherry with leather, tobacco, smoke and forest floor.
Palate: Medium bodied and classical, with soft, mellow fruit, firm but resolved tannins and a savoury finish.
