The 2022 Chianti Classico from Casina di Cornia is a pure Sangiovese from an organic family estate in Castellina in Chianti, where deep clay-limestone soils at around 250 metres face south-southwest. Farmed without copper since 1996 and made with native yeasts and minimal sulphur, it is a fresh, honest and food-friendly Chianti Classico.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Bright ruby.
Aromas: Fresh cherry and red berries with violet, dried herbs and a hint of earth.
Palate: Medium bodied and savoury, with lively acidity, fine tannins and a clean, balanced finish.
