Product Info
The 2023 Monteficalle from Montefioralle is the estate's rare Toscana IGT red, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from old organic plots in Greve in Chianti. Each variety is vinified separately, then the blend is aged for two years in well-used small oak barrels in tiny quantities of only a few hundred to a thousand bottles a year.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Deep, dark ruby.
Aromas: Black cherry, blackcurrant and plum with violet, spice, tobacco and a hint of cedar.
Palate: Full-bodied and polished, with dark fruit, supple tannins and a long, harmonious finish.
