The 2022 Dolcetto Superiore from Diego Pressenda is a rich and expressive take on this classic Piedmontese varietal. With deeper complexity and structure than a traditional Dolcetto, this Superiore designation highlights the wine’s enhanced depth, refined tannins, and beautifully balanced acidity.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Deep ruby red with violet highlights.
Aromas: Ripe blackberries, cherries, and plums, with hints of liquorice, violet, and spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied with smooth yet firm tannins. Flavours of dark fruit, black pepper, and cocoa unfold with a refreshing acidity and a lingering, elegant finish.
