The soils are calcareous, post‑glacial deposits over a porphyry base, and the vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically. The wine ferments spontaneously in open wooden vats and ages for around 12 months in barrique and tonneaux on its full lees. An approachable red that shows the dark, savoury side of Alto Adige.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Deep ruby red with purple reflections.

Aromas: Dark berries and plum with subtle spice and oak.

Palate: Medium‑full bodied with fresh acidity and supple tannins, leading to a balanced, savoury finish.

Wine Details:

Region: Alto Adige, Trentino Alto‑Adige, Italy
Varietals: Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage: 2022
Body: Medium‑Full bodied

Food Pairings:

Pairs well with grilled and roasted meats, speck and charcuterie, and hearty pasta dishes.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0653/3192/0977/files/ChiantiClassico_4_3d441407-83b6-40fa-b012-e210391fb4f1.png?v=1792859220
